April Barnhardt Whitlock has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. April is currently working at LendingTree as the Head of Corporate Citizenship and Executive Director of the LendingTree Foundation, where they are responsible for the strategic development and execution of philanthropic programs and volunteerism. Prior to this, they worked at Foundation For The Carolinas as the Interim Director of Charlotte Corporate Affairs Professionals and Philanthropic Advancement Marketing, where they played a key role in bringing nonprofits and the corporate community together. April also had their own business, Fundanoodle, where they were the Business Owner and later became the Director of Brand & Product Management. Additionally, April has worked as a Strategic Brand Marketing, Business Development, and Client Insights Consultant at CS3 Consulting, and as the Director of Brand Management at Carolina Pad. April has also held positions at Mom Corps, LendingTree, Grey Directory Marketing, and The Village Advocate.

April Barnhardt Whitlock attended Duke University from 1987 to 1991, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Policy Studies and Political Science.
