Chris Thompson

Chris Thompson has extensive experience in various roles, primarily in the financial and commodities industries. Chris started their career as a Graduate Trainee at Louis Dreyfus Commodities in 2001 and later became a Sugar Trader. In 2007, they joined Sumitomo Corporation Global Commodities Ltd. as the Head of Precious Metals Sales, eventually transitioning to become the Head of Precious Metals. Thompson then joined the London Bullion Market Association in 2010, where they served as a Public Affairs Committee Member and later became a Management Committee Member. In 2016, they joined SnapCap as the SVP of Credit & Operations. Since 2017, Thompson has been working at LendingTree, starting as the Senior Manager of Operations, Business Loans, and progressing to roles such as Director of Corporate Development and Chief of Staff to the CEO. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Product Strategy at LendingTree.

Chris Thompson completed their Master of Arts (M.A.) in Music from the University of Cambridge in 1999. In 2001, they obtained an MMus degree in Music from King's College London.
