Peter Sudbury

Peter Sudbury is an experienced legal professional currently serving as Senior Legal Counsel at LendInvest since May 2022. Prior roles include Legal Advisor for Products and Regulation at Handelsbanken in the UK from November 2018 to May 2022, and Legal Consultant at HSBC Retail Banking and Wealth Management from January 2018 to November 2018, where focus included GDPR implementation and mortgage lending projects. Peter co-founded MoloFinance, serving as Head of Legal & Compliance and Chief Operating Officer from December 2016 to January 2018, and held the position of Legal Counsel at Barclays Bank from July 2007 to December 2016, along with similar roles at National Australia Bank from January 2003 to March 2007. Academically, Peter holds a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice and a Bachelor of Law/Bachelor of Business in International Business from Queensland University of Technology, as well as a background in Political Science from The University of Queensland.
