Ricardo Catalán Montero

Ricardo Catalán Montero is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in finance and entrepreneurship. As the Co-founder and CEO of Lendismart since September 2015, Ricardo has led a fintech company that provides point-of-sale consumer finance solutions across Southern Europe, managing over €700 million in loans annually. Prior to this, Ricardo served as a Senior Manager at Deloitte Corporate Finance from July 2005 to November 2015, where responsibilities included M&A advisory, financial analysis, business modeling, and negotiations with banks for corporate clients. Additionally, Ricardo has held mentorship roles for entrepreneurs at IE Business School and has experience in financial accounting at Flex-N-Gate in Germany. Educational qualifications include a postgraduate degree in Private Equity and Structured Finance from IE Business School and dual degrees in European Business Administration from the University of Valencia and KEDGE Business School.
