Shahrayar Malik

Shahrayar Malik is the current Finance Manager at Lendo. Prior to this, they worked at Banque Saudi Fransi from November 2011 to November 2021, where they were Manager Accounting & Finance- Bancassurance.

During their time at Banque Saudi Fransi, Shahrayar was responsible for successfully transitioning the business by liquidating the Insurance Agency and forming an independent Bancassurance Department under the Retail/Personal Banking Group. Shahrayar also successfully integrated the revenue of both the Retail and Corporate Bancassurance Business lines under the BSF Bancassurance Portfolio.

In addition, Shahrayar devised and implemented the “Bancassurance 5-year Financial strategy” and business integration charter to the Board and Senior management. Shahrayar also made successful presentations of the Monthly Performance Review Reports to the Board and Senior management. Furthermore, they worked with the ISG network to develop and implement the “E- invoicing” ERP program, in line with KSA's ZATCA initiatives.

Under Shahrayar's leadership, the Accounting Policies and Procedures were realigned in adherence to the Banks IFRS. Shahrayar also provided accurate reporting to business line and department heads on a weekly basis, with consolidated segmentation and MIS reports. Finally, they ensured timely and accurate Annual/Quarterly departmental consolidations with the Group CFO and support departments.

Shahrayar Malik has a certification in IFR from the ACCA, as well as a Certified Management Accountant designation from the Institute of Management Accountants. Shahrayar also holds a B.A. in Applied Accounting from Anglia Ruskin University, and has completed a professional program in accounting and management from the same school. In addition, they have an Advance Diploma in Business Administration from Stevens college of Technology & Management, UK. Malik also has various certifications in cash flow and credit analysis, financial analysis, operational and financial risk management, and cash flow management and working capital optimization from Fitch Learning, Causal Capital, and Euromoney Learning, respectively.

A direct report to Shahrayar Malik is and Shouq Ibrahim - Sr. Accountant. Shahrayar Malik works with Kiran - UI Developer, Nada Mohammed - EA & Space Manager, and Shyamapada Lahiri - Software Developer, Associate Team Lead. Shahrayar Malik reports to Osama AlRaee, Founder & CEO.
