Philip Gem George

Philip Gem George is the Chief Operating Officer at Lendsmart, where he brings his expertise as a licensed mortgage loan officer, real estate agent, and real estate investor to streamline the lending process for banks and their customers.

He currently practices real estate in New Jersey at Realty One Group Legend and is a Mortgage Loan Officer with GenNEXT Funding. As a real estate investor, he has successfully been through the lending process three times.

Gem has over 15 years of executive experience in retail management working with corporate retailers, including Circuit City, Travelex Currency Services, XpresSpa, and Best Buy Inc. Accomplishments included driving sales and overseeing the implementation of key business initiatives, creating and sustaining the relationship with the business partners, owning brand standards in alignment with the company vision, and developing & training new management teams.

Gem holds a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from the University at Buffalo.
