Karen Morris

Karen Morris is a seasoned accounting professional with extensive experience in various financial roles. Currently serving as the Controller at the Lenfest Institute for Journalism since April 2019, Karen previously held the position of Accounting Manager at The Center for Autism from July 2010 to April 2019, overseeing all accounting and budgeting tasks. Karen's experience includes roles at Accountemps as a Staff Accountant, and at Thomson Scientific, where responsibilities included managing fixed assets and supporting Sarbanes-Oxley audits. Karen began the accounting career as an Associate Accountant at Biosis, contributing to a non-profit publisher, and previously owned and operated a family day care for over a decade. Karen holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the Fox School of Business at Temple University.
