Charles Williams

Charles Williams is currently the Lead Strategic Projects and Team Lead System Innovation at LenioBio, working on the ALiCE® scalable eukaryotic platform for cell-free protein expression. Prior to this, Charles was a Senior Scientist focusing on glycosylation. Charles completed their Ph.D. in Molecular Biology and Biomedicine at Universidad del País Vasco/Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea, following a Master's in Applied Biosciences with Biotechnology at Imperial College London and a Bachelor's in Medical Biochemistry at the University of Leeds. Charles has a background in research and development in various biotechnology companies, with a strong focus on glycoengineering and protein expression optimization.
