With experience in various research and development roles, including leading teams and managing projects, Hannes has a diverse skill set in metabolic engineering, synthetic biology, and bioprocess development. Hannes holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Industrial Microbiology, a Master's Degree in Biotechnology, and a Bachelor's degree in Bioprocess Engineering. At LenioBio GmbH, Hannes currently serves as the Head of Platform Development, overseeing the development of scalable cell-free applications and leveraging data to accelerate science and process development.
