Kate Bailey

Kate Bailey has held a variety of roles in the science and marketing fields. In 2022, they began working as Head of Marketing and Communications for LenioBio GmbH. Prior to this, they were Head of Corporate Publishing at QIAGEN from 2015 to 2022, where they were responsible for telling the stories of the fascinating science the company's global customers were engaged in. Kate also held the roles of Senior Content Marketing Manager, Content Marketing Manager, Interim Team Lead, and Technical and Marketing Writer at QIAGEN. From 2014 to 2015, they worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Centre for Integrative Biology (CIBIO) at the University of Trento. From 2009 to 2014, they were a Research Fellow at The Sainsbury Laboratory, and from 2008 to 2009, they were a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Warwick.

Kate Bailey completed their PhD in Environmental Microbiology from the University of Oxford between 2003 and 2007.
