Rusty Hunt

Rusty Hunt is the current President at Lenoir Community College. Prior to this, they held positions such as adjunct faculty at Wingate University, accounting controller at Pallet Resource of NC Inc., and Vice President, Financial & Administrative Services at Davidson County Community College. Rusty Hunt has been in the accounting field for over 20 years, starting as a staff accountant at EY and working their way up to their current position.

Rusty Hunt graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Rusty then went on to earn their Master of Business Administration from Liberty University. Rusty is currently pursuing their Doctor of Education in Community College Executive Leadership from Wingate University. Rusty is also certified by the North Carolina State Board of CPA Examiners as a Certified Public Accountant.
