Dr. Valerio Rizzo

Dr. Valerio Rizzo serves as the EMEA AI Lead at Lenovo since December 2018, specializing in the development of the AI business line across international markets and managing technology consulting projects. Previously held the position of Senior AI Solution Architect at Lenovo, focusing on AI, machine learning, and deep learning solutions. Experience includes roles as a 3D Generalist and Photogrammetry Expert at realities.io, where AI solutions enhanced image texture resolution, and as a Contract Professor and Researcher at Università degli Studi of Palermo, delivering lectures and conducting significant research in human physiology. Additional roles include 3D Generalist/VR Developer at Autodesk and Associate Researcher positions at The Scripps Research Institute, emphasizing neurological research. Dr. Rizzo holds a PhD in Neuroscience and Behavior Disorders, an MSc in Bioinformatics, and an MS in Biology and Physiopathology, with a notable track record of 25 scientific publications.
