Grant Lloyd

Grant Lloyd is an accomplished leader in technology and product development, currently serving as the Executive Director of Research & Technology at Lenovo since August 2015, where responsibilities include heading the Lenovo Research Mobile Technology Innovations Lab and focusing on the advancement of on-device AI and software technologies. Prior to Lenovo, Grant Lloyd was the Vice President of Engineering and Product Development at Motorola from April 1994 to July 2015, leading product design for global Companion Products and overseeing the engineering and delivery of a diverse portfolio of Bluetooth wearables and accessories. Grant Lloyd also held the position of Senior Director of Engineering & Product Management at Motorola, where significant contributions included developing a comprehensive technology strategy for next-generation Bluetooth devices and consistently delivering multiple award-winning products annually. Grant Lloyd holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Brigham Young University.
