Jong Choi has a diverse professional background spanning both educational and legal sectors. Starting as a teacher at Boston Public Schools' Fenway High School from August 2003 to July 2005, Jong transitioned into the legal field, serving as a judicial law clerk for the United States District Court, Eastern District of Texas from August 2008 to August 2009. Jong Choi held associate positions at Kirkland & Ellis LLP and Paul Hastings before joining Steptoe & Johnson LLP. Subsequently, Jong Choi served as legal counsel and later as senior legal counsel at Samsung Electronics between January 2013 and October 2025, before advancing to principal legal counsel. Currently, Jong is the Senior Counsel, Patent Licensing at Lenovo since November 2025.
