Kumar Mitra

Kumar Mitra has extensive leadership experience in the technology sector, currently serving as GM and MD at Lenovo since May 2021, responsible for the P&L across the Greater Asia Pacific region. Prior to Lenovo, Kumar held the position of Director of OEM Sales for Asia Pacific and Japan at Nutanix, achieving significant customer acquisition and margin growth. Earlier roles include Director of Sales for Asia Pacific and Japan at Quest Software, where Kumar led a transformational effort resulting in high revenue growth, and GM and MD positions at Blue Coat Systems and Sybase, both achieving substantial revenue increases. Kumar's career began at Accel Frontline as Director of Sales, building business in the telecommunications sector, and at Zenith Computers as Regional Manager for the Western Region. Educational background includes a BE in Electronics from Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University.
