Matthew Zielinski

SVP & President, International Sales Organization at Lenovo

As Senior Vice President and President of the North America Intelligent Devices Group, Matt Zielinski is responsible for sales, daily operations, growth, and profitability for Lenovo in the United States and Canada.

Matt also serves on Lenovo’s Diversity and Inclusion Board. Its role is to help plan and execute the company’s strategy to build inclusive leadership behaviors, foster diverse and inclusive systems, create accountability, and tell our story.

John has also served in a variety of executive and leadership positions at IBM, where he was involved in the IBM Watson and IBM Smarter Cities initiatives. In fact, he started his IBM career with the x86 Server business, which is now part of the Lenovo DCG team. Prior to joining Lenovo in 2018, Matt spent more than twelve years at AMD, holding several key global roles, including Corporate Vice President and General Manager of Worldwide OEM Sales. While as the Director and General Manager of the North America consumer business, he led AMD through significant market share gains and introduced new partners into the market, including Lenovo, Samsung, and Sony.

Previously, Matt held various sales positions at Infineon Technologies and Sun Microsystems.

Matt holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. He is also on the board of NAF, a national network of education, business, and community leaders working together to ensure high school students are college, career, and future ready.
