Tim Thomas

Tim Thomas is an experienced technology executive with a rich background in platform development and product architecture. At Lenovo from October 2014 to July 2019, Tim held leadership roles including Executive Director of Platform Development, overseeing a global organization responsible for server portfolio advancements in artificial intelligence and cloud technologies, and Executive Director of System Development, where Tim drove the successful launch of Lenovo's first enterprise storage products. Prior to Lenovo, Tim worked at IBM from January 1998 to January 2014, serving as Program Director for High-Performance System Development and Storage Device Engineering, delivering high-end server products and complex storage devices. Tim also holds a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from North Carolina State University and completed Executive Education at The University of Texas at Austin.
