Bill Craig has a diverse work experience in the field of law enforcement. Starting in 1989, they began their career as a Police Officer at the Jefferson Township Police Department. Throughout their time there, they held various roles including Detective, Patrol Sergeant, Patrol Lieutenant, Administrative Lieutenant, Captain, Deputy Police Chief, and finally Chief of Police/Emergency Management Coordinator. In 2013, they took on a part-time role as a District Security Monitor at the Newton Board of Education until 2019. In 2018, they also became an Owner at WFC Consulting LLC and a Law Enforcement Advisor for BOND. Bill joined the Washington Township Police Department in 2020 as a SLEO III (Part-time). In 2021, they transitioned to become a Confidential Executive Assistant to the Chief of Police at the Rockaway Borough Police Department. Most recently, in 2022, they became the Regional Director of Law Enforcement Relations at LensLock, Inc.

Bill Craig's education history includes attending the FBI National Academy (Session #235). Bill also pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Human Services from Thomas Edison State University. Additionally, they earned an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement Administration from County College of Morris. Furthermore, they obtained a degree in Public Administration, specifically a NJ Certified Public Manager, from Rutgers University.
