Tigran Galstian

CTO & Co-Founder at LensVector

Dr. Tigran Galstian and his research team (located in Quebec City, Canada) developed the LensVector tunable liquid crystal lens technology at Laval University in the Center for Optics, Photonics and Lasers (Quebec,Canada) where he is currently a professor of Engineering Physics. Galstian brings more than 30 years of experience of R&D work in academic and industrial fields in Europe and North America. More recently, Dr. Tigran won the Manning Prize in 2014 for his innovations in liquid crystal technology.

He has co-authored more than 650 technical articles, communications and patents, including the majority of LensVector-related patents. Galstian earned his doctorate and master’s from the Moscow Engineering Physics Institute.
