David Bekele

David Bekele has extensive work experience in the field of software project management and quality assurance. David started their career as a Senior Software Engineer at Lockheed Martin in 2001 and worked there until 2011.

In 2011, David joined Systems Made Simple, Inc. where they held multiple roles. As a Senior Software Quality Assurance Team Lead, they worked directly with the US Department of Veterans Affairs to ensure the software quality of their Time and Attendance System. David led the deployment and migration efforts and conducted Functional Requirements and Regression Testing. Later, they became a Project Manager and led a multi-million dollar time and attendance project for the US Department of Veterans Affairs. Their responsibilities included aligning business goals with technology solutions and communicating effectively with client executives and teams.

In 2015, David joined Lentech, Inc. as a Software Project Management Consultant. Their primary role was to support and host web-based time and attendance solutions for government agencies, including the Department of Labor. David also played a key role in developing and establishing partnerships with software vendors to expand the business. David assisted customers in planning, developing, and executing software upgrades and testing.
