Research Team Lead at Lenticular Research Group

Rebecca Zoltoski, Ph.D., leads the research team at LRG and is one of the world’s leading experts in lens physiology and function. Dr. Zoltoski is an associate Professor of Biological Sciences at the Illinois College of Optometry. She was mentored by Jerome Kuszak, Ph. D, one of the world’s leading crystalline lens researchers. Dr. Zoltoski has collaborated with Dr. Kuszak in publishing several papers on the structure of the lens. She has also published relating to the growth rate of the lens. She has been at the forefront in quantifiably demonstrating the differences in lens structure as a function of development, growth and aging.
