Astrid Skala-Kuhmann is a board member at Lenzing Group. Astrid has also served as an advisor for the International Program on Forests, division director for Indonesien, Malaysia, and Singapore, and a corporate lawyer. More recently, they have been a special advisor for the Belt and Road Initiative, G20, and T20 Co Chair Task Force on Migration.
Astrid Skala-Kuhmann has a long and varied educational career in law. Astrid began their studies with a focus on law at the Hanseatisches Oberlandesgericht Hamburg. After completing their first state exam, they went on to study international environmental law at the Georg-August-Universität Göttingen. During their studies, they were awarded a DAAD scholarship to study at Georgetown and Columbia University. After completing their Dr. jur., they continued their studies at the Universite de Geneve, where they obtained a degree in international public law.
