Christian Sperger

Christian Sperger has had extensive work experience at the Lenzing Group. Christian started in 2011 as a Project Manager and worked in that role until January 2016. In February 2016, they were promoted to Head of Fiber Processes Research. Additionally, they currently hold the position of Head of Fiber Processes and Technology, a role they have been in since an unspecified time period and is expected to continue until September 2023.

Christian Sperger received their education in several prestigious institutions. Christian completed their Diplom-Ingenieur degree in Technische Chemie at Technische Universität Wien from 1997 to 2003. Christian then pursued their Doktor (Ph.D.) degree in the Department of Pharmacie at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München between 2003 and 2007. Subsequently, they went on to earn a PostDoc degree from the Institute of Organic Chemistry at Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) from 2007 to 2011.
