Cairen Harry

Cairen Harry has extensive experience in the advertising and PR industry. Cairen started their career as a Junior Reporter at Gulf Daily News in 2005. Cairen then worked as a Senior Account Executive at Gorkana, where they were responsible for PR evaluation reports. Cairen then moved into account management, working as an Account Director at Karmarama. In this role, they led various cross-sector accounts and projects, specializing in online content and social media. Cairen later joined We Are Social as a Senior Account Director before becoming a Client Director at Wax/On. At Wax/On, Cairen was a key decision-maker in the operational and strategic running of the agency. Cairen led successful pitches and headed up retained accounts, contributing to revenue growth. Currently, they are working as a Business Director at Leo Burnett UK.

Cairen Harry pursued their education starting in 2006 at Rhodes University, where they obtained a BA Hons degree in Journalism & Media Studies, English Literature, and Psychology. Cairen attended this institution until 2008. In 2009, they enrolled at the University of Sussex to pursue an MA degree in Media and Cultural Studies, which they completed in 2010.
