Karam Iessa

Karam IESSA is a graduate electronic engineer currently working at Leo Cancer Care since April 2024. Prior experience includes serving as a data engineer at Worcester Bosch, where responsibilities involved data production and automation, and a quality assurance intern focusing on data pipeline architecture development. Karam also held the position of treasurer for IEEE City, University of London, contributing to the revival of the branch and managing financial accounts. An internship with Common Purpose allowed exposure to diverse cultural perspectives, and self-employment as an electrician in Beirut involved electrical installations and client relationship management. Karam began the career as an electrician with ElectroSpeed, operating within a team and performing maintenance tasks. Educational qualifications include a BEng in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from City St George's, University of London, and initial studies in biomedical engineering at the University of Technology - Iraq.
