Miha Ulčar

Miha Ulčar's work experience includes a variety of roles in different industries. In 2006, they started working at JP Vodovod-Kanalizacija d.o.o. Ljubljana as an Organization and Planning Manager in the Maintenance Department. In this role, they were responsible for managing water supply problems and implementing risk management methods. From 2011 to 2016, Miha worked as an SAP Senior Consultant at Sapphir d.o.o., primarily involved in implementing SAP for the energy sector. Miha then joined Petrol d.d., Ljubljana as the Head of Sales of Energy Solutions from 2016 to 2018. In this position, they were responsible for regional sales of smart projects for district heating and water supply. From 2018 to 2019, Miha worked as a Senior Business Development Manager at Cosylab, a global technology company specializing in accelerators and radio telescopes. Miha then held various roles at Cosylab, including Vice President Ventures, Investments, Partnerships, and Chief Growth Officer. Miha also served as a member of the Management Board at ProtonVDA from 2019 to 2023, where they were involved in the development of proton imaging systems for proton therapy delivery. In 2021, they became a member of the Supervisory Board at S2Innovation, where they helped deliver control system software solutions for industry and research laboratories. Currently, Miha is working as a Strategic Account Manager at Leo Cancer Care, a company focused on improving radiation therapy through upright patient positioning.

Miha Ulčar completed a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Water and municipal engineering from the University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Civil and Geodetic Engineering. Miha attended this program from 1999 to 2005. Later, they pursued a Master's degree in Hydromechanics from the same institution, studying from 2007 to 2011.
