Steve Martin has worked in a variety of roles within the engineering and project management industries. Steve began their career in 1998 as a Quality Engineer at DENSO Marston Ltd, where they were responsible for project work and customer relations. In 2000, they moved to Edwards as a Project Leader, where they managed multiple projects, budgets, and cross-functional teams. In 2007, they became a Senior Project Manager at Elekta (Oncology) Ltd. In 2012, they joined Honeywell as Head of PMO, Fire Systems EMEA and R&D Engineering Manager, where they were responsible for leadership of R&D/engineering teams, NPI/engineering processes, budgetary responsibility, NPI & cost reduction projects, and regulatory approvals. In 2016, they were appointed Head of PMO at Servomex, and in 2018, they moved to Acro Aircraft Seating as Head of Project Delivery. Their current role is Head of Project Management at Leo Cancer Care, which they began in 2022.
Steve Martin attended Balderstone Community School, where they obtained their GCSE's. Steve then attended Hopwood Hall College, Rochdale, where they obtained their A Levels. Steve then attended the University of Leeds, where they obtained a B Eng 2.1 (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering between 1993 and 1996. Steve then attended the Institute of Mechanical Engineers, where they obtained an F Eng between 1993 and 2013.
