Peter Scheipers

Peter Scheipers is a Target Identification Scientist and Project/Pre-project Leader at LEO Pharma, where the focus is on drug repurposing and early idea development since October 2005. Previously, Peter held the position of Senior Scientist in Explorative Biology and Section Head, specializing in in vitro pharmacology. Prior roles include Section Head and Project Leader at Active Biotech Research AB from 1999 to 2005, and postdoctoral positions at Imperial College Hammersmith Hospital and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute from 1994 to 1999. Peter began academic training as a PhD student in Chemistry, Biochemistry, and Immunology at the University of Freiburg, having completed undergraduate studies at the University of Münster from 1981 to 1984.
