Kate English

Kate English is a seasoned digital community manager with extensive experience in social media strategy and content creation. Currently serving as a Digital Community Manager at Leonard Cheshire since July 2021, Kate focuses on growing digital communities and enhancing accessible content for disabled individuals. Previously, Kate worked at the National Deaf Children's Society from April 2011 to July 2021 in various roles, including Social Media Manager, where strategic advertising initiatives were developed to engage families and professionals in the deaf community. Kate also held the positions of Senior Social Media Officer and Information Development Worker, managing social media channels and producing multimedia content. Earlier experience includes a role as Web Editor at the Department for International Development from February 2008 to March 2011, crafting content for the department's online platforms. Kate holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in History and Film Studies from the University of Stirling.
