August Dreyer

August Dreyer is a skilled hydrogeologist with a diverse background in geology and water resource management. Currently serving as a Staff Hydrogeologist at LRE Water since July 2024, August previously worked as a Hydrologist for the Brazos River Authority for two years. August's early experience includes a significant role as a Senior Lab and Research Support Assistant at Baylor University's Geoluminescence Laboratory, focusing on optically stimulated luminescence dating techniques and paleoclimate research. Academic training includes a Bachelor of Science in Geology and Economics from Baylor University, complemented by practical skills gained through a geologic field course and outdoor leadership training. Additional experience as a Red Cross-Certified Lifeguard and an Eagle Scout exemplifies August's leadership capabilities and commitment to safety and teamwork.
