Mahmood Rad

Mahmood Rad serves as the Chief Process Engineer at Leonardo DRS since October 2021, focusing on the execution of engineering and product development activities using Lean Product Development principles. Prior to this, Mahmood held various leadership roles at Johnson Controls, including Vice President Competitive Products and Executive Director Global Engineering Excellence, where responsibilities encompassed competitive benchmarking, value analysis, and implementing the company's engineering vision. Mahmood's experience also includes leadership positions at Harley-Davidson Motor Company, Delphi Automotive Systems, and General Motors, emphasizing strategic project management and operational excellence. Mahmood holds both a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from New Mexico State University.
