Steve Scalera

Steve Scalera is a seasoned executive with a strong background in strategy and business development. In the role of Vice President II at Leonardo DRS since May 2017, Scalera has been instrumental in driving organizational growth. Additionally, Scalera has served as President of Paige5 since July 2011 and as a Consultant at MIT Lincoln Laboratory since February 2016. A member of the Board of Advisors at the University of Richmond from December 2020 to August 2023, Scalera also boasts extensive experience from a 21-year tenure at BAE Systems, where roles included Senior Director of Business Development and Senior Staff Executive in Strategic Program Development. Scalera holds a Master’s and Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of New Hampshire, earned between 1989 and 1995.
