Giancarlo Schisano is the current Managing Director of the Aerostructures Division at Leonardo. Prior to this, they were the CEO of Metronapoli s.p.a from January 2000 to December 2005, where they oversaw two subway lines and three funicolari lines in Naples with approximately 50 euro million in sales and 570 workers. From January 1995 to December 2005, they were also the Chief Commuters/Regional Division at Trenitalia S.p.A., where they were responsible for financial planning in Metropolis, strategy, and the director of Commuters/Regional Transport Department. Giancarlo was also the Deputy General Manager Passengers at Trenitalia during this time. In addition, Giancarlo has also been the Chairman and CEO of Metronapoli spa as well as the Chairman of SITA spa.

Giancarlo Schisano is a business professional who has earned a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from SDA Bocconi and a Doctor in Economy from Università Federico II Napoli.
