Jake Purzak

Jake Purzak is a skilled Rotor System Engineer with a solid background in aerospace engineering. Currently serving as Rotor System Engineer II at Leonardo since August 2022, Jake focuses on structural analysis and the development of rotor components for the AW609 tiltrotor aircraft. Prior experience includes a role as Rotor System Engineer I and Graduate Rotorcraft Research Assistant at Penn State University, where Jake led projects in advanced rotorcraft testing, conducted performance and de-icing tests, and designed testing platforms for leading aerospace organizations. Jake holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Penn State University.
