Olaf de Sanctis

Olaf De Sanctis is an accomplished engineer with a strong background in aerospace and space engineering. Currently serving as a Cockpit Systems and Human Machine Interface Engineer at Leonardo since February 2025, Olaf previously held positions at Hiwin Italia as a Product Specialist and Robot Product Junior Specialist from February 2023 to February 2025, and worked as a Mechatronic Engineer at Phi Drive S.r.l. from December 2019 to January 2023. Early career experience includes roles as an Automation Engineer and Intern at SET - SVILUPPO E TECNOLOGIA S.R.L. from December 2017 to February 2019, along with volunteer work at the EUCASS 2017 conference. Olaf holds a Master of Science in Space Engineering and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Aerospace Engineering from Politecnico di Milano, where studies were completed between 2010 and 2017.
