Salvatore Lampone

Chief Risk Officer at Leonardo

Salvatore Lampone is the Chief Risk Officer of Leonardo since November 2014.

He graduated in Law, Economics and in Financial Economic Security Science.

Salvatore began his career serving as Officer with the Guardia di Finanza where he headed both judicial and tax police activities from 1982 to 1995.

He then moved to Ferrovie dello Stato (Italian State Railway Company) as Head of Internal Audit from 1995 to 2000. Subsequently, he worked for Trenitalia S.p.A as Head of the Tax Function until 2007 and as Audit Director until 2009.

He then was appointed General Manager at the Government Monopolies Administration where he was responsible for the control and assessment of taxes on Games, Audit and Security.

From 2012 to 2014 Salvatore was appointed Central Director Assessment at the Agenzia delle Entrate (the Italian Revenue Agency).
