Steven Labows

Steven Labows has extensive experience in aviation and flight operations, currently serving as Deputy Chief of Flight Operations at Leonardo since June 2022. Previously, Steven was an Experimental Test Pilot at Leonardo Helicopters, AgustaWestland Philadelphia Corporation from January 2013 to June 2022 and held multiple roles in the United States Navy from 1988 to 2013, including Captain, Government Flight Test Director, and Executive Officer for Multi-National Forces in Iraq. Steven contributed significantly as the Lead Developmental Test Pilot for the Navy H-60 Helicopter Program, overseeing numerous test programs, and has held leadership positions in systems engineering for various helicopter projects. Steven's academic qualifications include an M.S. in Aeronautical Engineering from the Naval Postgraduate School, an Engineering Test Pilot degree from the U.S. Navy Test Pilot School, and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University.
