Ahmad M. Elgarhy - Mba

Ahmad M. ElGarhy, an MBA and CMA with expertise in IFRS, has a diverse work experience in finance and accounting roles. Ahmad M. ElGarhy is currently the Head of Accounting and Tax at LEONI. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Finance and Human Resources at CC Plus. From 2017 to 2020, they worked as the Financial Controller for the Bahrain and Tunisia operations at Shelf Drilling. Earlier, at Shelf Drilling, they held roles such as Project Controller, Financial Controller, and Accounting Manager from 2012 to 2017. Ahmad M. ElGarhy also worked as an Accounting Supervisor and Rig Accountant at Transocean, and as an Accounts Payable Supervisor at GlobalSantaFe Corporation. Mr. ElGarhy began their career as the Chief Accountant at Huawei and later served as an Accounts Payable Supervisor at Shoprite.

Ahmad M. ElGarhy holds a Bachelor's Degree in Finance and Economics from Helwan University Cairo, which they obtained from 1995 to 1999. Ahmad M. ElGarhy later pursued further education and completed a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Business Administration and Management from the University of Leicester in 2018. In the same period, they also obtained a Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership from the Chartered Management Institute. In 2020, Ahmad completed an Associate's Degree in Certified Management Accountant (CMA) from the International management institute (IMA). Ahmad M. ElGarhy is currently pursuing a Diploma in IFRS from ACCA, expected to be completed by 2022.
