Tanaz Mody

Tanaz Mody has 14 years of work experience in various roles related to people operations, talent management, and HR. Tanaz is currently the Head of People Operations and Talent at Lerer Hippeau, a venture capital firm. Prior to this, they worked as the Chief People Officer at HQ, a subsidiary of Digital Currency Group. Tanaz also served as the VP of People Operations at Mechanism Ventures and as a Talent Consultant at Sidewalk Labs. Additionally, Tanaz has experience in co-founding and running an early-stage startup called Olmo, where they held the position of VP of Operations. Tanaz has also worked at companies such as Aaptiv, Warner Bros. Digital Labs, Bloomberg, Google, and Clifford Chance US LLP in various HR and recruiting roles. Tanaz has a track record of scaling teams and implementing innovative HR practices.

Tanaz Mody has a degree in Hospitality Administration/Management from Boston University. Tanaz also attended Lake Highland Prep School for high school. In addition, they have obtained certifications as an Executive Career Coach from Mentor Coach in 2019, and as a Group Exercise Certification from the American Council on Exercise (ACE Fitness) in January 2010.
