Michael C. Bossner

Michael Bossner, an associate with the firm, primarily works with clients in the technical fields of mechanical and biomedical engineering. While earning his degree in mechanical engineering, Michael gained practical experience working in various design and manufacturing sectors of the automotive industry. He continues to harness his engineering prowess to other technology areas by attending various engineering seminars and participating in engineering societies, such as the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).

During law school, Michael was already focused on intellectual property law. He served as the president of the Intellectual Property Law Society and twice competed in the Giles Sutherland Rich Patent Moot Court Competition. He also clerked at an intellectual property law firm and gained experience prosecuting patent applications in the automotive and home appliance sectors.

Michael's practice encompasses several areas of intellectual property law, including prosecuting domestic and international patent applications, conducting freedom-to-operate investigations, and performing patentability analyses. Michael relies on his experiences and adaptability to assist clients with their complex inventions while always keeping an eye on their business goals and outlining strategies to achieve them.
