Emily Harris

Emily Harris has a diverse work experience in the publishing and arts industry. Emily began their career at Intermedia Arts as a Designer from June 2006 to July 2008. Emily then joined Capstone Publishers as a Graphic Designer, where they were responsible for designing covers and interior layouts for children's books, art directing illustrators, and ensuring that files were print-ready. Emily worked at Capstone Publishers from July 2008 to May 2012. Currently, they are employed at Lerner Publishing Group, where they initially held the position of Graphic Designer since May 2012. Emily has now advanced to the role of Associate Art Director since September 2019.

Emily Harris began their education at St. Paul Academy and Summit School in 1985 and completed their high school diploma in 1998. Emily then attended Earlham College from 1998 to 2002, where they obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. Following this, they enrolled at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design from 2004 to 2007, earning another Bachelor of Arts degree, this time in Graphic Design and Illustration. In 2011, they briefly attended the School of Visual Arts for the Milton Glaser Summer Program, although no specific degree was mentioned.
