Giulio Narciso

Giulio Narciso has a diverse work experience in the field of data analysis and business intelligence. Giulio started their career at Carrefour in 2010, where they worked as a Senior Functional Analyst, overseeing the company's Business Intelligence system for analyzing commercial data. Giulio was responsible for various processes such as defining product and store master data, logistics and supply chain management, stock management, and commercial monitoring. In this role, they also analyzed new business needs, provided support in system usage, ensured data quality, coordinated projects with the French team and Italian information systems, and conducted post-release follow-up.

In 2012, Giulio took on the role of a Functional Analyst at Carrefour, focusing on international projects related to the design and implementation of applications in the Finance and Control department. Their tasks included gathering user requirements, preparing functional analysis documents, mapping processes, controlling and certifying software development, performing data analysis and database queries, conducting user acceptance tests, coordinating project teams, and serving as a functional and technical specialist in the Treasury, Payments, and Banks area.

Since 2017, Giulio has been working at Leroy Merlin as a Lead Data Analyst. Giulio leads a team in supporting and guiding business users in BI projects, aiming to provide tools for decision-making and continuous performance improvement. Giulio collaborates with the Data IT team, translating business needs, and overseeing project development phases, from requirement definition to project release. Giulio is skilled in using tools like BigQuery, Data Studio, Power BI, SAP BO, and project management tools.

Giulio Narciso obtained a Laurea 1° Livello in Ingegneria Informatica from Politecnico di Milano from 2004 to 2010. In 2009, they also studied Ingegneria informatica at Universitat d'Alacant for a brief period.
