Umran Bedük

Umran Bedük has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over 25 years. UMRAN currently holds the position of Chief Operations Officer at Les Benjamins, a role they have held since November 2023. UMRAN is also a Board Member at BAGFAş Bandırma Gübre Fabrikaları A.Ş since April 2023.

Umran Bedük has also worked at GLG as a Network Member since September 2022. In this role, they bring their expertise in the sportswear retail industry to help clients with brand management, market entry, and distribution of apparel and footwear.

Before joining GLG, Umran Bedük worked as a Consultant at Management Centre Türkiye (MCT) from March 2022 to November 2023.

Prior to their consulting role, Umran Bedük had a long and successful stint at Eren Perakende Satış ve Mağazaıcılık A.Ş., where they held various positions such as General Manager, Nautica General Manager, Wholesale & Business Development Director, and Retail & Marketing Director. In these roles, they managed the Eren retail brand portfolio, introduced and established the Nautica brand, negotiated with international brands, and redesigned business units to increase productivity.

Umran Bedük began their career at Lacoste as a Brand Manager and worked there from February 2005 to September 2013. UMRAN managed the budget for advertising and promotional products, supervised the product portfolio, and executed brand strategies.

Prior to their work at Lacoste, they worked as a Volkswagen&Seat Sales Consultant at Dogus Otomotiv in 2004 and as a Store Manager at Verducci Leather from 2002 to 2004.

Umran Bedük's earliest work experience was as a Production Efficiency Executive at Eren Holding's textile manufacturing factory. UMRAN worked there from October 1997 to August 2001, where they were responsible for time management of manufacturing processes, establishment of manufacturing layouts, and bottleneck management.

Umran Bedük has a graduate degree in MBA from the University of Hartford and an undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Istanbul University. UMRAN also has a non-graduate degree in Interior Architecture and Environmental Design from Bilkent University. Additionally, Umran has obtained certifications as a Co-active Coach from the Co-Active Training Institute and as an ISO 9000- Internal Auditor from the Turkish Standards Institute-TSE.
