Samir Touzani

Samir Touzani is a journalist with extensive experience in digital journalism and a strong foundation in legal studies. Since April 2018, Samir has been a part of the editorial team at Les Echos, focusing on web articles that include breaking news, analysis, data visualization, and fact-checking. Previous roles at Les Echos included writing for both the daily newspaper and its weekly supplement, as well as enhancing online content with multimedia elements. Samir gained foundational skills during a brief stint at AFP, focusing on economic reporting, and participated in the Google News Initiative, which aimed to foster tech-savvy journalists. Early professional experience included a radio journalism role at Radio France. Samir holds multiple degrees in business law from Université Toulouse 1 Capitole and a Licence in Law and Political Science from Université de Bordeaux.
