Peter Lessing

Peter Lessing is the Director of System Analytics at Lessing's Hospitality Group. Prior to this, they worked as a Customer Connections Analyst at National Grid from May 2021 to August 2021. Peter was responsible for coordinating a system that tracked and managed existing user accounts dating back to 2014 in order to properly determine customer eligibility for monetary refunds based off criteria set by the Public Service Commission. Peter also collaborated with management, field workers, and fellow analysts to ensure transparency throughout integrated internal departments by heading the effort to authenticate data within Salesforce, Mapping systems, Excel, CSS and Maximo.

Before joining National Grid, Lessing was an intern at Elite Cold Storage from December 2019 to January 2020. Peter helped in the processing, storing, and distribution of packages for a variety of perishable items through the use of division of labor in order to optimize efficiency and allow enough time for last minute orders to be filled. Peter also experienced the daily operations of a supply chain distribution business while learning how to maximize profitability within the company by analyzing potential new business partners.

Lessing began their career at Lessing's Hospitality Group as a Head Caterer. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing all aspects of catering operations for the company. Peter ensured that all events were properly staffed and that all food met the high standards of the company. Peter also developed relationships with vendors and clients to ensure that they received the best possible service.

Peter Lessing's educational career began with a Bachelor of Business Administration from Binghamton University School of Management. Peter followed that with a High School Diploma from Babylon Jr/Sr High School. Finally, they completed their Master of Business Administration from Binghamton University School of Management with a focus in Business Analytics and Management Information Systems.
