Luanne Abercrombie

LuAnne Abercrombie has a diverse work experience spanning from 1983 to 2017. LuAnne started their career at Digital Equipment Corporation as a Principal Software Engineer and Software Manager. LuAnne then transitioned into the education field, working as a Middle & High School Math Educator at Laguna Blanca School from 2003 to 2012. In 2012, LuAnne became the Chief Product Officer at Lesson Planet, where they focused on providing educators with discovery and sharing tools, as well as integrating technology into teaching. In 2017, they moved to Learning Explorer, still as Chief Product Officer, where they helped education leaders positively influence student learning and inspire teachers through a drag-and-drop curriculum discovery and content management platform.

LuAnne Abercrombie holds a Master's degree in Secondary Education and Teaching from the University of Colorado Boulder. LuAnne also has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin - LaCrosse. In addition, they possess a certification in Single Subject Teaching for Mathematics.
