Philippe Piot

Philippe Piot has extensive experience in journalism and legal education. Currently serving as a journalist at L'Est Républicain since February 1988, Philippe also holds the position of Directeur départemental du Territoire de Belfort. At La Gazette du Palais since March 2010, Philippe has co-managed the legal commentary on press law. Additionally, Philippe teaches press law at Université de Strasbourg and has been involved in legal education as a lecturer at Ecole nationale de la Magistrature from April 2013 to November 2016, and as a trainer for journalists in press law at ESJ PRO from March 2010 to October 2013. Philippe's academic credentials include a Doctorate in Private Law and Criminal Sciences from Université de Lorraine, a DEA in Criminal Sciences from University of Strasbourg, a Maîtrise in Private Law from University of Lille 1, and various technical qualifications from Lycée Loritz.
