Sophie McGarity

Sophie McGarity started their work experience in 2022 as a Co-Creator and Software Engineer at Artemis. In this role, they designed a cloud infrastructure capable of generating a load of up to 20,000 virtual users using AWS CloudFormation. Sophie also implemented a solution for simultaneous tests across different load-testing containers and created a CLI application to automate the deployment of cloud infrastructure using AWS CDK and SDK.

Sophie then worked as a Software Engineer at Gatsby from July 2022 to January 2023. During this time, Sophie contributed to the Gatsby open-source repository, maintained distributed services deployed on Google Cloud Platform, and wrote automated tests using Jest to ensure code functionality and stability.

Currently, Sophie works as a Software Engineer at Highlight since April 2023.
