Lasse Werner Madsen

Lasse Werner Madsen is the Founder and CEO of LEVITATE, a company that empowers amputees to live an active life. Prior to this, they worked at VIKING Life-Saving Equipment A/S, where they held various roles including Director of R&D, Manager of R&D LifeCraft, Program Manager & Senior Project Manager, Global Network Manager and Head of Service Excellence, Project Manager of Service Excellence, and Project Coordinator of Service Excellence. In these roles, they were responsible for global administration, operations excellence, offshoring, digitalization, process automation, lean practices, standardization, consolidation, talent retention and development. Before that, Madsen worked as a Motivational Speaker at Rådet for Sikker Trafik and as a Sales Manager and Telemarketing Supervisor at UGPLUS, where they expanded and trained a sales team and analyzed sales results.

Lasse Werner Madsen completed their education at various institutions. Lasse Werner started their academic journey in 2007 at the Faculty of Engineering, University of Southern Denmark, where they obtained a General Certificate of Education A-level, specializing in Innovation and Technology. In 2010, they continued their studies at Syddansk Universitet - University of Southern Denmark and earned a Bachelor of Science BSc (Eng) in Product Development & Innovation in 2013.

During their bachelor's degree, Lasse also had the opportunity to study abroad at San Diego State University in 2012 and 2013. Lasse Werner then pursued further education at DTU - Technical University of Denmark from 2013 to 2015, where they acquired a Master of Science in Engineering with a specialization in Engineering Management.

Lasse later enhanced their knowledge and skills by completing a Global Management Program at Copenhagen Business School in 2018. Additionally, they obtained certifications in Project Management Basic and Intermediate from VIKING Life-Saving Equipment A/S in 2018 and 2017, respectively.
