James Murphy

James Murphy is a seasoned design assurance and quality engineer with extensive experience in the medical device industry. Currently serving as a Senior Design Assurance Engineer at LetsGetChecked since June 2020, James has implemented robust design and development processes in line with ISO 13485:2016 and 21 CFR 820, while managing projects across the organization. Prior to this role, James held positions at LivaNova, where effective tracking of quality issues led to significant improvements, and at BD, focusing on process development for medical devices. James holds a Master of Engineering in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from University College Dublin.
